FALCON is committed to protecting your personal data. This “Policy” outlines how we collect, process, use, and disclose your personal information as users and visitors of our website, www.falconcapital.gr (the “Website”).

FALCON provides the legally defined meanings of the following terms to ensure you fully understand the text of this “Policy”:

In your requests or inquiries, please include your email address, name, and phone number, and clearly specify the information to which you wish to gain access, change, update, remove, or delete.

This “Policy,” as well as our Cookie Policy (see here), applies to all users and visitors of our Website, including those who use the Website without being registered or subscribers, as well as those who request services via telephone or by email or otherwise in person.

FALCON offers its services to the general public, does not target children, and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 15 (Article 8 “GDPR,” Article 21 Law 4624/2019).

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

When you visit our Website, you are not required to provide us with any of your personal data.

FALCON will only collect the following personal data:

  1. When subscribing to FALCON’s Newsletter, where users/visitors of the Website may voluntarily provide some of their personal data. The interested party may unsubscribe from the Newsletter recipient list at any time, and the data entered for this purpose will be deleted. In this case, we request the following information:

  1. When users/visitors voluntarily submit Curriculum Vitae (CV) for job search purposes. In this case, the Curriculum Vitae (CV) may include, at the user’s or visitor’s sole discretion, the following information:

  • Gender,
  • Profession,
  • Marital status,
  • Nationality,
  • Residential or accommodation address,
  • Headquarters,
  • Postal code,
  • Mobile and/or landline phone number,
  • Fax number,
  • Email address,
  • User ID, username, or address of other communication means or/and social networking sites, and
  • Other information relating to your education and work experience.

The personal data collected will be retained only as necessary for reviewing and considering submitted Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and cover letters for potential job placements, as well as for sending newsletters to users/visitors who have opted in. The data will be collected and retained exclusively for these purposes. 

FALCON will retain the personal data for the duration required to fulfill these purposes, not exceeding one (1) year. If a job opportunity arises within this period, we may contact you regarding potential employment. Upon completion of the application process or after one (1) year, all provided personal data will be deleted. Personal data submitted voluntarily, without a request from FALCON, and for which there is no explicit consent or valid legal basis for collection and processing, will not be considered and will be deleted immediately.

FALCON maintains pages on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, where no processing of personal data takes place. There is the possibility of communication with the administrators of each page via message. In the event that the administrator of any page receives messages containing personal data of natural persons, such data is treated as strictly confidential, and their use serves solely the purpose of communication, with immediate deletion after fulfilling the purpose for which they were collected.

Public data and publications consisting of comments or content posted on FALCON’s social networking platforms, along with your personal data accompanying such publications or content, which may include a pseudonym, username, user ID, comments, likes, status, profile information, and photographs are not collected, stored, or processed by FALCON and therefore do not create legal obligations for FALCON. Public information and publications are always public, meaning they are available to everyone and may appear in search results on external search engines.

FALCON does not exert and cannot exert influence or control over the nature and extent of the personal data collected and maintained by social networking platforms as a condition or result of their use, and bears no responsibility for the collection and processing of personal data carried out by them. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

FALCON collects and processes your personal data solely to support, promote, and execute our relationship. This includes reviewing submitted job applications, such as Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and cover letters, preparing for interviews, and using your email address to provide you with our newsletter and service updates. This processing is essential for fulfilling your requests, ensuring effective communication regarding job opportunities, and complying with applicable laws and legal procedures, as well as responding to inquiries from competent governmental or European authorities. The collection and processing of personal data are limited to what is strictly necessary and appropriate for these purposes. The basis for collecting and processing your personal data is your explicit consent, which allows us to meet your requests effectively.

Use of Personal Data Collected

The personal data collected during your subscription to the Newsletter of the Website is used only for sending informational emails to keep you informed about FALCON, specifically regarding prices, offers, promotional activities, advertising materials, contests, and other announcements. In any case, for the aforementioned use of your personal data, your explicit consent is required, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter list at any time, at which point the data registered for that purpose will be deleted.

 

The personal data collected through your submitted Curriculum Vitae (CV) for job interviews are used exclusively for assessing your qualifications for potential job positions and preparing for interviews. This data is essential for our recruitment process and is handled with the utmost confidentiality. The collection and processing of this data are strictly necessary for fulfilling our obligations related to the recruitment services you have requested. Additionally, if a suitable job opportunity arises within one year, we may contact you regarding potential employment. For these purposes, your explicit consent is required, and your information will be retained for a maximum of one year to allow us to evaluate your application and consider you for future job openings.

 

FALCON may use your personal data to comply with applicable laws or legal procedures or to respond to requests from competent governmental or European authorities, as well as to protect its rights and the rights of third parties. They are strictly confidential, and access to them is granted only to the “Data Controller.” Furthermore, FALCON has sufficient security systems and takes all necessary and appropriate organizational and technical measures to prevent any breach of the security of your personal data (leakage, disclosure, access by unauthorized persons) from our systems. For this purpose, the personal data collected are retained for the minimum necessary period in systems that provide adequate security and are used exclusively by the “Data Controller,” ensuring the maximum possible protection of the recorded data.

FALCON under no circumstances discloses, shares, transmits, or publicizes the personal data it has collected and processed to third parties, except as required by applicable laws, especially when this is necessary for FALCON to comply with legal processes, judicial decisions of Greek or foreign courts, requests or decisions of competent public, governmental, or European authorities, and the public administration, etc.

Rights of Data Subjects

FALCON fully complying with the provisions of the “GDPR,” facilitates and enables the exercise of the rights granted to you as “Data Subjects” under the “GDPR,” provided that real exercise is possible, and informs you that you can exercise the following rights at any time:

 

  1. Right to be informed regarding which data FALCON processes, after contacting the “Data Controller” (Articles 13-14 “GDPR”),
  2. Right of access to your personal data, meaning you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data exist and to be informed about their content and origin, as well as to access them (Article 15 “GDPR”),
  3. Right to rectify your personal data, meaning you have the right to verify the accuracy and completeness of your personal data and to request the correction, completion of incomplete data, taking into account the purposes of processing, updating, or modifying them (Articles 16, 19 “GDPR”),
  4. Right to restrict the processing of your personal data (Article 18 “GDPR”) in the event of a dispute regarding the accuracy of the data, if you have exercised your right to object and the decision is pending, and in cases where the data are no longer necessary for the initial purpose but cannot yet be deleted for legal reasons,
  5. Right to object to the processing of your personal data and automated decision-making, especially in “profiling” (Articles 21 and 22 “GDPR”), by withdrawing your consent, without this withdrawal affecting the lawfulness of processing based on your consent prior to its withdrawal,
  6. Right to erasure of your personal data if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which FALCON collected or processed them, or if you withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of your personal data, and FALCON has no other legal basis for processing them, or if you have objected to the processing according to the “GDPR” and there are no compelling legitimate grounds for processing, or if your data have been unlawfully processed (“Right to be Forgotten”) (Article 17 “GDPR”),
  7. Right to data portability of your personal data held by FALCON, in order to receive them in electronic format and transmit them to a third party (Article 20 “GDPR”),
  8. Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory data protection authority, namely the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

In the event of exercising any of the above rights, the “Data Controller” will take all possible measures to satisfy the request within thirty (30) calendar days from the receipt of the relevant application, informing you in writing of the satisfaction or the reasons preventing the exercise of the right. If due to the complexity or number of requests this is not technically feasible, the deadline may be extended for an additional two (2) months, following your notification.

Severability

In the event that one or more provisions or individual terms of this “Policy” are deemed incompatible with the applicable national or EU legislative framework or otherwise partially or wholly invalidated or deemed unenforceable, the validity and legality of the remaining provisions or terms shall not be affected, which continue to be in effect and applicable.

Amendment of the Present Privacy Policy

FALCON may modify or update this “Policy” for any reason (including, but not limited to, changes in applicable law and interpretations, decisions, opinions, and instructions regarding such applicable law).
